DESCRIPTION:WHO uppmanar alla medlemsländer och organisationer att uppmärksamma patientsäkerheten i världen varje år den 17 september.\nI år är temat ”Engagera patienter för patientsäkerheten” och att utveckla patientens röst för patientsäkerheten genom att också involvera familjer och andra närstående i vad det innebär.\nFOKUS Patient hoppas att alla patientföreningar och organisationer är med på detta tema och vill delta genom att sprida kunskap och material via möten och i sociala medier. WHO tillhandahåller en hel del på sin hemsida:\nhttps://www.who.int/campaigns/world-patient-safety-day/2023/campaign-essentials ( https://www.who.int/campaigns/world-patient-safety-day/2023/campaign-essentials )\nIn this year, World Patient Safety Day will be celebrated on17thSeptemberunder the theme ”Engaging patients for patient safety” and the slogan ”Elevate the voice of patients!”, in recognition of the crucial role patients, families and caregivers play in the safety of health care.\nThrough the slogan”Elevate the voice of patients!”, WHO calls on all stakeholders to take necessary action to ensure that patients are involved in policy formulation, are represented in governance structures, are engaged in co-designing safety strategies, and are active partners in their own care. This can only be achieved by providing platforms and opportunities for diverse patients, families, and communities to raise their voice, concerns, expectations and preferences to advance safety, patient centeredness, trustworthiness, and equity.\n
