DESCRIPTION: \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nInteractive workshop for public sector web authors, 1st June 2021\nWhat if authoring tools could provide automatic accessibility by default so that you don’t need to think about it, such as suggesting an ALT-text? What if the tools could support you to easily do the right thing? Wouldn’t that be great?\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMany content creators in the public sector are not trained in accessibility. Some only publish online every now and then, which makes it hard to remember all the details needed to get it right. At the same time, web authors have a lot of impact on the accessibility of the websites. There are at least 20 million public sector web authors in the EU.
