European Cancer Imaging Initiative launch event
The Commission is organising a hybrid event on 23 January 2023 in Brussels to mark the launch of the Cancer Imaging Initiative, one of the Flagship Initiatives of the Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan.
This 2.5-hour event will present the policy background and the Cancer Imaging Initiative #euCancerImaging. It will provide an overview of the Federated European Infrastructure for Cancer Images Data (EUCAIM) project which starts in January 2023 and which will be the cornerstone of the Cancer Imaging Initiative. The presentations will be followed by a panel discussion covering the clinical, industry, AI developer and research perspectives on the Cancer Imaging Initiative and discussion with the audience.
Participation is free of charge but registration is mandatory. The recording and materials from the event will be available online after the event.
Due to limited space, onsite participation is only possible subject to confirmation by Commission services. Should attending in person not be possible, you will be able to attend online.
In order to attend please register. The connection details and location of the event will be sent to you upon registration.
